What I look for when reviewing a contract
When reviewing a contract, I focus on three priorities: fairness of the terms (are the obligations and sanctions symmetrical?), legal validity (does the contract contain any prohibited or unenforceable clauses?) and practicality (is the contract clear and specific?). The most common problems: one-sided contractual penalties, an overly vague description of performance, missing termination conditions and an ineffective dispute resolution clause. You will receive the report on the contract in a clear form with concrete recommendations.
