What I will take care of for you

Properly drafted terms and conditions protect your business from customer claims and regulatory penalties. Terms for e-shops must meet the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act.

  • Terms and conditions for e-shops and online sales
  • Terms and conditions for SaaS and digital products
  • B2B terms and conditions (business relationships between companies)
  • Complaints procedure
  • Personal data processing terms
  • Updates whenever legislation changes

What an e-shop’s terms and conditions must legally include

The Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.) and Section 1820 of the Czech Civil Code require e-shops to inform customers about: the trader’s identity (Company ID number (IČO), address, e-mail), the price (including taxes), the method and cost of delivery, the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, the warranty period, how to file a complaint, and out-of-court dispute resolution (the Czech Trade Inspection Authority or another ADR body). Missing or inaccurate terms breach the law, which the Czech Trade Inspection Authority monitors and can fine. The terms and conditions I prepare reflect the most current version of the law.
